Workshop

Energizing Breathwork for Vitality and Sports Performance

In this 2.5-hour workshop, we will explore the power of breath and bodywork as tools to awaken energy, build stamina, and improve overall performance. You will learn a mix of pranayama practices and conscious connected breathing techniques—many of which are also used by elite athletes like Michael Phelps, LeBron James, Novak Djokovic, Paula Radcliffe, and Laird Hamilton to expand lung capacity, improve oxygen efficiency, and support endurance.

What to expect:

The session will begin with bodywork practices to release tension and prepare your system for deeper breathing. From there, you will be guided through various energising pranayama and conscious connected breathing techniques to help you energize the body naturally, balance the nervous system, and tap into your inner vitality. These practices are not only for sports or fitness—they are also powerful tools for everyday life. Breathwork can help you regain focus and concentration when facing challenging tasks, re-energize during the mid-day slump, and calm the mind for clearer decision-making. At the same time, it supports stress management, deeper sleep, quicker recovery, and improved overall health.

What to bring:

To ensure you have a comfortable and safe experience, please bring the following:

Comfortable, loose clothing that doesn’t restrict your movement. Wearing layers is recommended, as your body temperature may fluctuate during the session.

  • An eye mask or blindfold.

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated

  • A blanket for your comfort.

  • If you have asthma, please remember to bring your inhaler :)

  • It’s best to avoid eating for at least 2 hours before the session.

  • Important: Avoid drinking alcohol and other stimulants and substances 18h before our session.

Disclaimer:
While the main focus of this workshop is to support vitality and improve overall physical performance, it’s important to know that practices like pranayama, conscious breathing, and bodywork can also activate and regulate the nervous system in a way that may, for some people, bring up emotions or memories. This may or may not happen, and there is no expectation that it should. If it does, know that it is a natural part of the body’s process of tension release and nervous system regulation, and the space will be held with care to support your experience.
